Volunteer Central
One of the indications of a healthy church is a growing and
flourishing volunteer force ministering with enthusiasm and passion. At
Pinelake we value our volunteers and the service they provide in
their ministry. We believe volunteering allows people to use
their God-given gifts as an act of worship to God while ministering
to others.

CONGREGATIONAL CARE MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES
Parking Lot – Bus Captains
With the current expansion and relocation of our Equipping Classes, we are now running a shuttle service between the Plaza entrance and Pinelake School. We need 2 friendly, outgoing people each hour on Sunday mornings to ride the buses, greet and converse with those riding, and assist the driver as necessary. Development of two teams would turn this into a bi-monthly opportunity.
To volunteer please contact David Hardin at dhardin@pinelake.org.
Celebrate Recovery leaders, facilitators or technical support
Come be a part of this exciting ministry as we prepare to kick off a new theme in January 2007. Training is available for anyone who desires to be a part of a growing ministry which offers help and healing to those who are struggling. From setting up the room and greeting visitors to running lights and the presentation in the sound booth or facilitating a small group on a specific “hurt, habit, or hang-up.” Opportunities exist to provide you a place to get plugged in!
To volunteer please contact Jennifer at jbassett@pinelake.org.
Prayer Warriors
If you have a passion for prayer and a desire to pray for the Pinelake family and our community we encourage you to join our team. A Prayer Warrior can pray anywhere at anytime, or you may join our team on Sunday mornings at 7:15 a.m. Come join us as Pinelake becomes a house of prayer.
To volunteer please contact Sarah Joy at sgannon@pinelake.org.
Hospital or Nursing Home Visitation
Are you available to visit some of Pinelake’s members and regular attendees in their hour of need? Just let us know what day of the week you are available or from which hospital you would like to receive a list. Are you already visiting a loved one in a nursing home? We can tell you who else resides there and is affiliated with Pinelake. If you are interested, you can shadow one of our resident chaplains.
To volunteer please contact Sarah Joy at sgannon@pinelake.org.

MISSIONS MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES
Medical Missions
In 2007, Pinelake will be sending four teams overseas on medically focused mission trips. Prior to their departure, we need a team, comprising of a medical doctor, nurse and pharmacist, to help stock, sort and pack the medical supplies for transport. The demand is not weekly, but seasonal depending on timing and needs of the mission team. Orientation and training will be provided.
To volunteer please contact Chuck at cnewton@pinelake.org.
Missions
Team leaders and volunteer workers are needed to serve in local, Gulf Coast and strategic global areas. Opportunities are designed and available for varying lengths and levels of commitment—from a weekend on the coast helping with construction to a month overseas with a church plant. Consider partnering with Pinelake and helping to fulfill the Great Commission.
