What is podcasting?
A podcast is a series of digital-media files which are distributed over the Internet using syndication feeds for playback on portable media players and computers.
How do I download and play podcast?
We recommend that you subscribe through iTunes from
Apple. iTunes is a free download that will allow you automatically download and play video and audio files.
How do I install iTunes on my computer? Click Here to go to the Apple website and download iTunes.
Under "Download iTunes", enter your email address and click the "Download iTunes Free" button. You will be guided through the steps to complete the installation process.
If you are having problems installing iTunes you may find the solution by going to iTunes Support. There you will find helpful information, including videos and step-by-step instructions.Now that I have iTunes, how do I play Pinelake podcast?
Subscribe to the Podcast
If you have iTunes installed and you have clicked on one of the links above, iTunes should open the Pinelake podcast. Click the "Subscribe" button next to the Pinelake Sermon Podcast image.
Download Podcast to Play
Once you have subscribed to the podcast, next, click the "Podcast" button on the left side of screen under "Library". The podcast should be listed in your list of podcast. If you only see the title and not list of podcast, click the small arrow next to the title to expand the list. Click the "Get" button next to the sermon(s) that you would like to play and they should begin to download. (please note that some of these files are large and may require a long time to download)
Play the Podcast
Once the download of the podcast has completed, click the podcast that you wish to play and click the play button at the top of the screen.
