Children are precious at Pinelake. Taking to heart Jesus’ love for children, Pinelake seeks to provide a comprehensive caring ministry to preschoolers and their parents.
We want to:
- Partner with parents to help lay a strong spiritual foundation in the lives of our children
- Present a variety of activities designed to teach Bible truths and build a foundation of faith in a clean and safe environment on Sunday mornings
- Let children learn about God through activities in centers which allow freedom of exploration and discovery.
We provide:
- Classes for children ages birth through five based on their date of birth.
- Caring teachers and workers involve themselves in the lives of children as they minister on the child’s level.
- Nursery care from trained and experienced caregivers.
HELPING HANDS
The Helping Hands Ministry provides an extra pair of hands to assist the teachers with teaching, leading and nurturing preschoolers within the class room. Helping Hands is a volunteer based program on a six-week rotation. Each volunteer is assigned to a classroom and is scheduled to serve one hour once per rotation. All parents with regularly attending preschoolers are asked to serve on the Helping Hands rotation. GREAT EXPECTATIONS —
EXPECTANT PARENTS MINISTRY
Great Expectations is a ministry for any expecting or adoptive parents — whether it is your first or fifth child. Our ministry is organized and led by Pinelake volunteers who have a huge heart for expectant parents. Our purpose is to help meet the many physical, spiritual and emotional needs that can occur during your pregnancy or adoption process. When you join Great Expectations you will be assigned to a Mentor Mom. She will serve as your contact person and pray for you and your baby regularly. Your Mentor Mom will also coordinate meals and other surprises for you after the baby arrives. It is important that you keep her informed of your progress and your needs so that she will know how she can serve you best.
