Worship Pastor, Clinton, MS (full-time)

Pinelake is seeking a Worship Pastor for our Clinton Campus. This position is responsible for implementing and promoting a comprehensive Worship Ministry of education and activities to lead people of all ages to worship God through Christian music and drama and to reach the church congregation and local community for salvation and active church membership.

Partial list of responsibilities:

  • Plan, oversee and evaluate components of the Worship Ministry.
  • Work within the established goals and objectives for this ministry and strategies to fulfill them.
  • Work in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of the church mission and strategies.
  • Implement and promote activities to support the Worship Ministry’s strategies and supervise the communication of these activities to other staff members and the church congregation as appropriate.
  • Disciple young worship leaders.
  • Plan and lead worship services during the year as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; and four to ten years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

High School Pastor / Reservoir Campus (full-time)

Pinelake is seeking a High School Pastor The High School Pastor is to lead with and oversee the High School Minister as together they, in cooperation with the Student Ministry team at large, seek to help High School students and their parents discover and fulfill their God-given purpose for living. We believe that one of the most important ways to do this is to involve students in healthy and challenging small groups where each member is involved relationally with properly trained small group leaders who see themselves as “front-line ministers” to our students. With this in mind the High School Pastor must have a clear understanding of shared ministry. The ministry must be shared with our servant leaders, parents, and with the High School students themselves. Pinelake’s student ministry exists to help 9th – 12th grade students and their families to find salvation through Christ and to share the good news of the gospel with others. The High School Pastor shall oversee all aspects of the spiritual development of High School students.

  • Work in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of Pinelake’s mission and strategies.
  • Work within the established goals and objectives for this ministry and in cooperation with the Family Ministries strategy to reach the entire family.
  • Work with and supervise the High School minister in all areas pertaining to High School ministry.
  • Implement and promote activities to support the High School ministry strategies and work with the staff to communicate these activities to other staff members, families with high school students and the church congregation as appropriate.
  • Plan, schedule, and assist with High School Ministry events throughout the year including Wednesday night worship and Sunday morning small groups and any public speaking and teaching of classes or training sessions as identified by the High School Ministry objectives and the Pastor of Student Ministries.
  • Assist in developing, coordinating, and implementing a discipleship ministry for students, which will especially meet the needs of each division of ministry (9/10 and 11/12), and that is consistent with the Family Ministries spiritual matrix.
  • During the school year, will be present on school campuses by participating in activities such as eating lunch at school, volunteering for school programs, attending school events, functions, and Bible studies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; and a minimum of 5 years of ministry related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in churches of over 500 attendees.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills are required.

Children’s Minister (full-time)

Pinelake is seeking a Children’s Minister for our Madison//Ridgeland Campus.   This position is responsible for developing, implementing and promoting a children’s ministry involving education and activities for children and the families of children between the age groups of first grade through sixth grade to reach the church body and the community for purposes of salvation, spiritual growth and family enrichment.

Partial list of responsibilities:

  • Assist the Campus Pastor in establishing goals and objectives for the ministry and initiate strategies to fulfill them.
  • Plan and promote activities to support the Children’s Ministry strategies and supervise the communication of these activities to other staff members and the congregation as appropriate.
  • Enlist and train servants for children’s ministries and special programs.
  • Ensure that all servants (paid and volunteer) understand and adhere to the Child Protection First! policies.
  • Supervise and coordinate work with Children’s Ministry servants.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of the budget for the Children’s Ministry within the parameters established by the Campus Pastor and Pinelake’s budget policy.
  • Interface with specific ministry teams that support the Children’s Ministry.
  • Evaluate and order materials, curriculum and resources for various children’s program needs.
  • Purchase supplies and equipment and oversee the use and maintenance of all equipment and supplies used by the ministry including set up, break down and proper operation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications:

  • Experience in a multi-site setting desired.
  • Proven track record of building servant teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; and three to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Small Groups Pastor / Clinton Campus (full-time)

Pinelake is seeking a Small Groups Pastor.    This position is responsible for building an Acts 2 community by launching small groups primarily in the Clinton, Mississippi area where people connect relationally, develop spiritually, serve compassionately, and multiply their influence in the lives of others.  In short: Belong, Grow, Serve, and Multiply.  

Partial list of responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategy to attract and connect Clinton area residents into small groups where they belong, grow, serve, and multiply.
  • Partner with College & Singles Pastor to cultivate relationships with those who
    will be involved in the future Clinton multi-site.
  • Actively develop, recruit and expand a volunteer structure (leaders, coaches, etc.) that will allow for relational support and accountability for fulfilling small group purpose and annual goals and objectives.
  • Pilot a neighborhood small group strategy in designated locations.
  • Prepare and manage budget for area of responsibility.
  • Assist in leader training and connection events as assigned.
  • Assist in the selection and/or development of small group curriculum.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills are required to develop and maintain strong working relationships with volunteers, co-workers, the public, church members and regular attendees. 
  • Ability to develop and execute action plans to fulfill vision.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; and a minimum of five years of ministry related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Substitute Teachers for Mothers Morning Out / Reservoir Campus – (part-time)

Schedule: Monday and Wednesday 8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Pinelake’s Childcare Ministry is seeking Christian adults to teach and love our children.

Available hours:

  • Sunday nights 4:30 p.m. – 8:15 p.m.
  • Tuesday mornings 8:30 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
  • Wednesday nights 5:45 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

The rate of pay is $7.50 per hour.
