Equipping Ministry

Our Mission — To equip (train) the people of Pinelake with life-changing instruction and skills that will help maximize spiritual maturity and ministry.

Our Biblical Mandate — Ephesians 4:11-13 says, “And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.”

Our Challenge — One of God's greatest desires for His children is that they grow up to maturity in Him. Our desire at Pinelake is to help facilitate the maturation process by offering classes that will equip (train) our people to maximize their growth in Christ.

Equipping Classes
The purpose of the Pinelake Equipping Classes is to provide a biblically-balanced discipleship opportunity for men and women who desire to grow more mature in their spiritual lives. The ultimate goal of the Pinelake Equipping Classes is to see the lives of our people challenged and God's kingdom impacted. Understanding that spiritual maturity is a life-long pursuit, our commitment to you is to provide a spiritually challenging environment where growth and life-skill development take place.

What is an Equipping Class?

• An Equipping Class is designed to give life-changing instruction and skills that will help maximize spiritual maturity and ministry.
• Equipping Classes have a definite beginning and ending date. Most classes will last from four to 12 weeks. This will give us the opportunity to offer a wider variety of classes throughout the year. Four quarters of classes are offered each year.
• Class content will have greater depth and will be more challenging. Most classes will require study/application away from class time.
