Worship Pastor, Instrumental (full-time) Posted: July 1, 2008
Pinelake is seeking a Worship Pastor, Instrumental for our Reservoir Campus. This position is responsible for implementing and promoting a comprehensive Worship Ministry of education and activities to lead people of all ages to worship God through Christian music and drama and to reach the church congregation and local community for salvation and active church membership, personally or through subordinate employees.
Partial list of responsibilities:
Plan, oversee and evaluate all components of the Instrumental Ministry.
Work within the established goals and objectives for this ministry and strategies to fulfill them.
Work in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of the church mission and strategies.
Implement and promote activities to support the Worship Ministry’s strategies and supervise the communication of these activities to other staff members and the church congregation as appropriate.
Supervise the enlistment, education and evaluation of all instrumentalists and servants in instrumental music in keeping with the principles taught in Ephesians 4:11-12.
Develop and direct the instrumental music ministry and serve as pastor to the members and their families.
Provide organizational, spiritual, and musical leadership for the student worship leader ministry.
Disciple young worship leaders.
Coordinate the staging needs of the Worship Band and equipment with the Director of Worship Production and Director of Worship Technology.
Arrange musical charts to be used in the services of the church.
Serve as church pianist.
Plan and lead worship services during the year as assigned.
Arrange and transcribe music, produce tracks, and assist in recording projects.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; and four to ten years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Children’s Minister, Madison/Ridgeland Campus (full-time) Posted: June 3, 2008 Pinelake is seeking a Children’s Minister for our Madison//Ridgeland Campus. This position is responsible for developing, implementing and promoting a children’s ministry involving education and activities for children and the families of children between the age groups of first grade through sixth grade to reach the church body and the community for purposes of salvation, spiritual growth and family enrichment.
Partial list of responsibilities:
Assist the Campus Pastor in establishing goals and objectives for the ministry and initiate strategies to fulfill them.
Plan and promote activities to support the Children’s Ministry strategies and supervise the communication of these activities to other staff members and the congregation as appropriate.
Enlist and train servants for children’s ministries and special programs.
Ensure that all servants (paid and volunteer) understand and adhere to the Child Protection First! policies.
Supervise and coordinate work with Children’s Ministry servants.
Assist in the preparation and management of the budget for the Children’s Ministry within the parameters established by the Campus Pastor and Pinelake’s budget policy.
Interface with specific ministry teams that support the Children’s Ministry.
Evaluate and order materials, curriculum and resources for various children’s program needs.
Purchase supplies and equipment and oversee the use and maintenance of all equipment and supplies used by the ministry including set up, break down and proper operation.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience in a multi-site setting desired.
Proven track record of building servant teams.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; and three to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preschool Minister (full-time) Posted: February 26, 2008
Pinelake is seeking a Preschool Minister. The Preschool Minister is responsible for Pinelake’s Sunday Morning Preschool Ministry. This Ministry exists to provide an enjoyable place of Ministry for servants of the ministry, a warm and inviting atmosphere for parents of preschoolers, and a creative learning environment for children. The Preschool Minister is responsible seeing that the purpose statement is lived out in the actions of staff members, servant leaders, and the experiences of people utilizing the ministry.
Partial list of responsibilities:
Sunday morning environment for children, servant leaders, and parents.
Plan, coordinate and conduct three baby dedications per year.
Provide leadership, guidance and direction for Associate Preschool Minister and administrative support.
Continual recruiting and equipping of servant leaders.
Establish goals and objectives for Sunday ministry and initiate strategies to fulfill them.
Plan and promote activities to support our Sunday ministry to preschoolers and supervise the communication of these activities to other staff members, lay leaders, and parents.
Maintain and environment that welcomes all visitors to the preschool ministry and make sure that appropriate follow up is made with first visitors.
Responsible for appreciation, shepherding, and addressing of relational needs of all full time servant leaders (i.e.….sympathy, appreciation, relationship building, etc.).
Build relationships with preschool families through personal contact, lunches, meetings, or correspondence.
Prepare and manage the budget for all Preschool Ministries within the parameters established by the Family Minister, Executive Staff and the Finance Ministry Team.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; and a minimum of 5 years of ministry related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Exceptional interpersonal skills are required.
Experience in a preschool ministry with 500 or more preschoolers preferred.

Small Groups Pastor / Clinton Campus (full-time) Posted: February 22, 2008
Pinelake is seeking a Small Groups Pastor. This position is responsible for building an Acts 2 community by launching small groups primarily in the Clinton, Mississippi area where people connect relationally, develop spiritually, serve compassionately, and multiply their influence in the lives of others. In short: Belong, Grow, Serve, and Multiply.
Partial list of responsibilities:
Develop and implement a strategy to attract and connect Clinton area residents into small groups where they belong, grow, serve, and multiply.
Partner with College & Singles Pastor to cultivate relationships with those who
will be involved in the future Clinton multi-site.
Actively develop, recruit and expand a volunteer structure (leaders, coaches, etc.) that will allow for relational support and accountability for fulfilling small group purpose and annual goals and objectives.
Pilot a neighborhood small group strategy in designated locations.
Prepare and manage budget for area of responsibility.
Assist in leader training and connection events as assigned.
Assist in the selection and/or development of small group curriculum.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Exceptional interpersonal skills are required to develop and maintain strong working relationships with volunteers, co-workers, the public, church members and regular attendees.
Ability to develop and execute action plans to fulfill vision.

Substitute Teachers for Mothers Morning Out – (part-time) Posted: November 7, 2007
Mothers Morning Out is looking for substitute teachers. No previous experience is required and all needed materials are provided by Pinelake. Mothers Morning Out is available from August through May of each year.
Schedule: Monday and Wednesday 8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
The rate of pay is $7.50 per hour.
