A special time of prayer is now taking place before Renewal every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. This informal time of prayer will allow people to come to the Worship Center and pray with pastors and other intercessors or pray at the alter.

Middle School Guy's & Girl's Weekends
The Middle School Ministry is hosting two weekends for guys and girls to get away separately and discuss living for God in today’s culture. The Guy's Weekend will be October 31 – November 2 and the Girl's Weekend will be November 7 – 9. Both events will be held at Timbercreek Camp in Morton, MS and the cost is $80. Food Drive
Pinelake is collecting food to help Southside Baptist Church prepare their annual Christmas meal for the homeless. On Sunday, November 16, bring industrial-sized cans of holiday foods like yams, green beans, new potatoes, cranberry sauce and pie filling or bring dry goods like stuffing mix and leave the bags of food behind your car when you head into worship services. The food will be collected and delivered to Southside in South Jackson.

48 x 48 Gulf Coast Trip - College
College students — it’s your chance to help with hurricane relief efforts on the Gulf Coast. For $48 the group will spend 48 hours from November 7 – 9 continuing the work of previous trips such as debris removal, roof repair and restoring homes in the area. There are two groups meeting and going:
Mississippi College students — Register by contacting Craig Curtis at 601.829.4500 or craig.curtis@pinelake.org. Leave from the parking lot of the Baptist Healthplex in Clinton.
College students from other schools — Register by contacting Jared Yates at 601.829.4500 or jared.yates@pinelake.org. Leave from the Pinelake Reservoir campus Activities Center.
Both groups will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, November 7. Deadline to register is Wednesday, October 29.

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) Kick-off 
Join other moms for the MOPS kick-off meeting on Tuesday, September 30 from 9 – 11 a.m. in room C138. MOPS meets on the last Tuesday of each month from September through April to listen to great guest speakers and share information with one another. This month, don't miss guest speaker Chris Webb, co-author of 1-2-3 Magic for Christian Parents: Effective Discipline for Children 2-12. You'll appreciate this simple approach to discipline with a biblical foundation. There's a one-time registration for all of the MOPS meetings. If you need to register for childcare click here.

Celebrate Recovery Groups
Celebrate Recovery has several different support groups that meet on Sunday nights at 5:15 p.m. in the Theater. Here’s a little information about some of the groups:
• The Eating Issues group reaches women struggling with overeating, under-eating and emotional eating.
• The Caring Friends group provides a place of support for families and friends of those struggling with homosexuality.
• The DivorceCare group is a place of encouragement and healing for anyone going through a separation or divorce.
Both groups follow a biblical 12-Step model and discussions are highly confidential.

Serve Jackson Day for First-timers
Do you plan on being a part of every Serve Jackson Day only to change your mind at the last minute? Then this is the perfect opportunity for you. Meet with other "first-timers" on Saturday, October 4 at Pinelake and then carpool to our missions partner, Mission First, in downtown Jackson. There, you'll help with various projects at every skill level. Lunch is provided.

Medical Professionals serving Mission First
Mission First’s purpose is to spread the gospel in downtown Jackson by operating a high quality, well-run clinic which provides medical and dental care to qualified patients. Patients are asked to pay a minimal processing fee for services offered. Pinelake is seeking doctors, dentists, nurses and general medical workers to volunteer at the Mission First clinics, in addition to those willing to visit and pray with patients.
