We offer a variety of classes and resources throughout the year to allow you to customize your personal growth plan as you seek to take the next step of obedience and growth.

Core Doctrines of the Bible

What you believe will determine how you live! The class starts with how to establish a biblical worldview and then works through topics such as how we got the Bible and the doctrine of the Holy Spirit. Understanding core doctrines is indispensable for living a dynamic Christian life
What your child does and says flows from the heart. This class provides fresh, biblical approaches to child rearing, focusing on how to speak to the heart of your child. For parents with children of any age, this class provides perspectives and procedures for shepherding your child’s heart.
Leveraging Your Christian Influence

Personal Bible study is not mysterious or magical. It is a lot like other activities we do, whether baking a cake, hunting a deer or preparing a business proposal. We apply a method that involves certain steps to reach our goal. This class will teach you a method of Bible study that involves three steps: observation, interpretation and application. Through instruction and hands-on practice, you will acquire skills to begin a lifetime journey of reading, interpreting and applying the Bible to life.

Making A Difference In A Messed Up World

The condition of our culture may seem like an unstoppable, downhill slide. Just trying to make a difference in our own neighborhood can be overwhelming, let alone the whole mixed-up world out there. In this class, you will learn more about the issues that we face in our community and how a Christian can begin to do little things today that will add up to big differences tomorrow.
How can we know God exists? If God is good then why do bad things happen? Is science in conflict with the Bible? Do historians agree with the stories of Jesus and the early church? Have you ever asked these kinds of questions? If so, then “Reasons to Believe” will introduce you to apologetics. Apologetics is the use of philosophy, history, documents and science in addition to the Bible to support the essential claims of Christianity.

Pinelake Church encourages people to use a Life Journal in their Bible study. This simple tool utilizes a Bible reading plan coupled with a journal and a straightforward process for recording what you sense the Lord is teaching through daily readings. Feel free to join this class at any time to meet new friends and study Scripture passages together.
GriefShare is a weekly support group for people who are grieving the death of a family member or a close friend. At GriefShare, you’ll learn valuable information about recovering from your grief and renewing your hope for the future.

Beginning Sign Language

A beginning sign language class that will focus on teaching the basics of American Sign Language (ASL) and deaf culture to any interested person. It is open to those with no prior knowledge of sign language or those who have some knowledge and want to review.

The Home Team is a ministry designed to equip parents to spiritually impact the lives of their children. During the fall and spring semesters, parents will rotate through four quarters each lasting six weeks, of biblically-based studies to help enable them in raising their children.
