Pinelake Church strives to carry out the great commission of Jesus Christ through a variety of ways. One strategic means is through missions mobilization into the community, nation and world. In 2008 Pinelake will continue work in places like Kenya, Turkey and with local partners such as Gateway Rescue Mission. The church will also begin relationships in the Dominican Republic, Montana and with a host of new partners in inner-city Jackson.
48 Hours In Jackson Ministry Weekend Pinelake is working with two local ministries in 2008 whose primary focus is the revitalization of neighborhoods in forgotten areas of Jackson. These ministries are Mission First and the Perkins Center. Both ministries offer clean, safe accommodations for groups to stay and work. We will be spending several weekends at these ministries to assist them in reaching downtown Jackson for Christ.
Serve Jackson Days Pinelake will serve at ministries frequently in 2008. The following Days of Service are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4
p.m. Individuals, families and entire Small Groups can join together to reach out to those in need in the Jackson
area.
Our local ministries have service opportunities in addition to this schedule. If you or your small group would like
